My left arm
Lately...... no, historically... I've had a problem with my left arm...
It keeps lifting to punch me in the eye as I do my circles...
My Alexander teacher discovered this quite on her own and showed me how I fail to ALLOW my arm (humerus) to hang and be supported in it's scoopy resting place on the radius ulna....
Sometimes you need a coach to help develop an awareness of how you use ( or misuse) your body...
We can be centered while sitting, carrying, sweeping, or driving.. Being centered is an attitude we carry, it is a quality of being present and comfortably balanced within our body and our environment,
It embodies intent, focus, patience, direction and an intuition for timing,
